I'm new to this avenue of creation and expression; this is my first true website.  I've included this page so that I may learn all that I can to improve the experience for all, including myself of course!  I truly appreciate any help!

    Some Particular Advice Sought:

Technical  -  Switching to Dreamweaver so be patient.  Still figuring out FrontPage during the transition.

I have a strange white vertical line in my gallery pages between some of the columns that I can't eliminate.  Can anyone advise me as to how to get rid of it?  I've gone through every setting I can think of: frame properties, page properties, borders. background colors, etc.  perhaps I need to increase the size of a photo?

I also often get the warning that an HTML page name isn't correctly formatted no matter what, even with a one word title with no spaces or any other characters or punctuation, that is obviously correct.  Is this a bug in FrontPage 2002?  I've heard Microsoft rarely upgrades this program.

Any technical modifications you think I should learn to apply next?  Dreamweaver should take care of this soon...

Best way to improve web "footprint?"  Applied to Google, Yahoo and MSN (or whatever their name is now) but it is taking FOREVER!  Does it really take months to go up on the search engines?  Does buying a longer-term domain name really move you up in the search engine listings?  Enough to make much difference?  Or is it a sales pitch?

Have used META tags, limited and well-thought-out keywords, description tag, good beginning text,  many connected pages for more keywords, as well as the Eros site link, a link to an article, a no-frames page, and currently building a sitemap. What else helps the bots find your website and creates a clearer and more comprehensive view?

Substantive  -  Anything that should be there but isn't?

                  Anything that should be cut?

Any typos, grammar, usage, style errors?

+ any other advice that you deem helpful!

                                                                                         Thanks!
